Biography

Amel SDIRI's special musical talent was evident from a very young age, and her parents quickly recognized her particular ear for music. She began studying the violin at the music school in Bizerte city at 5 years old, and her natural aptitude for the instrument was immediately apparent.

At the age of 16, Amel received her Arabic Music Degree and began teaching music.
Her exceptional singing voice was also noticed by the orchestra’s maestro of “Khmais Tarnene music band”, and during her entrance test for the Higher Institute of Music in Tunis, her voice was captured.

Amel continued her training in violin with her professor “Michaela Mami”, and while studying at the Higher Institute of Music in Tunis, Amel's special voice began to overshadow her skill as a violinist, and she quickly became in demand as a singer.

In 2013, during a multi-style musical comedy performance that featured songs in English, French, Italian, Arabic, and Turkish, Amel was identified by a Bulgarian singer “Hristina Hadjieva” who recognized Amel's strong soprano voice and encouraged her to pursue lyrical singing.

After graduating, Amel also began teaching singing and various techniques, in addition to continuing her education. She earned a Master's degree in music and musicology in 2017, and then continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, then a second didactic Master's degree in archaeology and art history from the ULB (Free University of Brussels).

Since 2014, Amel has performed in numerous concerts, festivals, and cultural events across Tunisia, France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, and the United States..

Recently, she has been working on productions in several musical styles, including lyrical, oriental, far-eastern, jazz, gospel, and Tunisian, and has been exploring the combination of synthetic sounds with her music.

In 2023, Amel is collaborating with some of the world's top composers and preparing to release her first album, marking a significant milestone in her already remarkable musical career.
